Adverbs of Frequency

Adverbs of frequency are used to describe how often we do things. It can also be used to describe how frequently things happen. It can be in numbers, such as “once,” “twice,” “weekly,” or “yearly.” Other common examples include: always, usually, often, frequently, sometimes, occasionally, hardly, and never.

Here are some examples for you:

  • I usually go to school most days of the week.
  • It often rains in autumn.
