Irregular Verbs

Irregular verbs, as previously stated, do not have a past tense ending in -ed. In addition, they also don’t take on -d or -ie as their plural form like other past simple tenses or past participles.

  • Pay = paid
  • Make = made
  • Have = had
  • Find = found
  • Hold = held
  • Sell = sold
  • Leave = left
  • Feel = felt
  • Learn = learnt
