Present Perfect Tense for Questions

A question can be formed from most sentences, and it is the same with present perfect tenses.

A question in the present perfect tense must follow a pattern, which is the auxiliary verb coming first, followed by the subject, and lastly, the verb’s past participle. The rule is simple: HAVE/HAS + SUBJECT + PAST PARTICIPLE.

  • Has the event started yet?
  • Have you had lunch yet?
  • Have I taken the wrong course?
  • Has the company decided to move with the motion?
