People do many different jobs every day. Some work in hospitals, some in schools, and others in shops or on farms. In English, we use words like doctor, teacher, farmer, and waiter to talk about these jobs. Knowing job names helps you say what you do, ask about someone’s work, or understand stories and conversations about work.
