What Are Flowers?

Flowers are a type of plant comprised of roots, a stem, leaves, and petals. A flower is a seed-bearing type of plant that is used widely for its beauty. There are many different types of flowers, with some popular types being roses, sunflowers, lilies, daisies, tulips, orchids, carnations, and marigolds. Flowers are grown in huge groups called “flowerbeds” in gardens because they look so beautiful and they are also displayed inside homes as decorations. Bunches of flowers are used at events like weddings because flowers are associated with romance.
